E-CVT Input Shaft Seal Driver – Honda Hybrid

This seal driver is designed to install the E-CVT input shaft seal found on newer Honda hybrid transmissions. Unlike conventional automatic transmissions, these E-CVT transmissions do not use a torque converter. Instead, they utilize a dampener (flywheel) assembly, and this tool is designed to install the seal behind the dampener to the correct depth during service.

The driver has been engineered to provide a precise fit, helping ensure the seal is installed evenly and without damage.

Although fitment has not yet been physically confirmed on every application listed above, these vehicles share the same input shaft seal and a similar E-CVT transmission design.

Recommended Use

• Start the seal squarely by hand before installing, or place on the tool where the lip of the seal holds onto the tool.
• Slowly Drive the seal using a rubber mallet, stopping once the driver seats flush against the transmission housing.

Notes

• These tools are fully 3D printed. Minor surface variations or small discrepancies in the print are normal due to the printing process and do not affect performance.
• Certain brake cleaners may cause surface discoloration. This does not compromise tool function.
